I’ve decided to make the cake for Evie’s party. We keeping it simple, but I have an idea in my head about making a cake, so cake there shall be! Evie loves dogs - ‘woof’ is one of her first words (not sure if that should worry me). Naturally then, I’m making a dog cake. I’m always up for a good challenge!

Only, the thing is… it’s a really busy time of year for our families, and for very good reasons people can’t all make it on the same day.
Our solution… 3 parties! Not big parties or anything, just a small group at each.

So, I’m making 3 birthday cakes. The freezer is being taken over with cake.

The kitchen smells lovely, and I’m getting more than my fair share of cake mixture to indulge with. Maybe 3 parties is a good idea!
